Because it’s not true. Few claim that Caribbean politicians are xenophobic because the policies speak for themselves. The Dominican Republic has been labeled as xenophobic by some international media outlets, but typically Caribbean people themselves don’t use words like xenophobia to describe these immigration policies. You seem to be caught up on the labels, but what I am saying is that in substance the criticisms of CARICOM are not much different from some the criticisms that ADOS has received.
