I do call every black person in the world African because that’s what we are. It has nothing to do with racist sensibilities, unless you are trying to suggest that Peter Tosh was a racist. Yes, South Africa was named by Europeans. I’m not really sure how that is relevant though. A lot of countries were named by white people, including America. In fact, America was named after a white woman. The Caribbean was also named so by white people.
