Ice Cube was once rapping about revolution and claimed that he was down with Khalid Muhammad until Khalid Muhammad got into trouble with the political establishment. At that point, Ice Cube distanced himself from Khalid Muhammad. Ice Cube is also done with revolution and is focusing on electoral politics. That’s all mentioned in the article, so I am not sure why you claim that no evidence was presented. Your critique is puzzling to me because Tucker Carlson is only mentioned briefly at the beginning of my article. For me, the issue isn’t that he met with Carlson. The issue is that he abandoned a revolutionary Black leader whom Ice Cube claimed as a brother and he’s now turned to trying to make deals with politicians who don’t even like Black people.

It seems to me that you are trying so hard to defend Ice Cube over the backlash with Tucker Carlson that you missed my point, which is actually unrelated to him being interviewed by Tucker Carlson. My point is that the revolutionary ideas which Ice Cube rapped about early in the 1990s are principles which has long since abandoned. The same is true of KRS-One.
