Mexican is not a racial identity. There are brown, black, and white Mexicans. As for black people, most of us are educate in systems which are deeply rooted in whiteness. The curriculum I received in school was very Eurocentric, which in turn forced me to view the world outside of blackness. Your comment here proves my point about the problem with being so trapped in one outlook of the world that you are incapable of understanding other perspectives. Finally, no one stated anything about teaching that all white people are oppressors. If you are concerned about all white people being viewed as oppressors then perhaps you should start with encouraging what people to know the history of slavery and Jim Crow.
