My hope is that one day our common identity and common struggle as people of African descent becomes more important than our national identities, especially since national identities are the products of slavery and colonialism. My ancestors didn’t decide to leave Africa and move to Guyana. They were forced there just like your ancestors were forced to America.

Also Guyanese, Jamaican, Trinidadian, etc. are all nationalities. I am not against anyone who calls themselves American if American is their nationality, but ADOS implies something much different. I am against ADOS becomes it seeks to divide African people even more than we are already divided and also because the people who support ADOS have been spreading so many lies and misinformation about Pan-Africanism. Why does ADOS have to be centered on attacking Pan-Africanism? Why is ADOS so hostile to Black unity?
